Selene goddess of the moon gave birth to 50 daughters with Endymion and some others children with others that she fell for. Zeus with whom she would of had 2 daughters Hersé and Pandia. Then there is questioning with Pan, alluring her with the offering of a herd of white ox.

The image of the talisman was sent to me by a friend. It is showing Selene, the goddess of the moon, pouring the moon out into the sky with 8 stars. The contour presents only four cycles of the moon.
