Nyx goddess of night

Chaos brought exceptional power and beauty with the birth of his daughter Nyx. And at her turn she became mother of many, even a reincarnation of herself. The goddess Nyx is a protogenoi part of the primordial deities. And yet, Nyx goddess of night remains a shadowy figure in Greek mythology.

Interesting facts

Husband Phanes was made the ruler of the deities and at one point he passed the sceptre to Nyx.


In some interpretation of the greek mythology Nyx would of been the first to be born.

Aristophanes wrote that Nyx was the first deity and that she produced Eros from an egg
